Humans

Humans

We are humans…

Different, but

all humans.

We love, we hate

We laugh, we cry

We gain, we lose

We heal, we hurt

We protect, we harm

We help, we hinder

We create, we destroy

We accept, we deny

We believe, we doubt

We abide, we revolt

We conquer, we liberate

We birth, we kill

We live, we die.

We are humans…

Different, but

all humans,

able of being humane.

Through my lens...

We were all set to go!!! On 4 th early morning we started. We reached Bangalore airport by hired bus at 9. 15Am. Our flight was at 1.15am was a. When we boarded the flight, the air-hostesses gave instructions. I t was my first flight and I was excited. We reached Delhi airport at 4.15pm. Thank you Indigo for a safe flight. From airport we went to lodge by taxi. We freshened up ourselves and planned to visit Akshardham temple to see the laser show. From lodge we reached metro station by cycle rickshaw. The cycle rickshaw ride was a new experience for me. The difference that I could find between Delhi metro train and Bangalore was Delhi metro trains are very busy and people of Delhi are much dependent on metro trains. We traveled by metro to Akshardhama temple but unfortunately it w...

Mountains To the mountains; tiny parts of them,  that I felt like I had conquered To the mountains; mighty and huge, that I saw from a distance To the mountains; full of stories,  full of hope To the mountains; that I hadn't dreamt of,  but felt like a dream To the mountains; cold yet so warm, miles away from home yet homely To the mountains; unpredictable and beautiful To the mountains; to parts of them, that moved me, I shall be grateful...

Our school had organised a trip to Nagara fort and Ramachandrapura math. Nagara is a historical village, 84 kms from Shivamogga, Karnataka. Ramachandrapura math is a Hindu monastery in Hosanagara taluk, Shivamogga, Karnataka. It was different from the other school’s trip because it was a reward. Students who had achieved the target set by teachers in test were taken to this trip. The trip was on 4 th October 2016.  We left the school at 8:45 am. It was a journey of 2h 20 mins to Nagara fort. we played many games and shared snacks. We also enjoyed the beautiful views of the green land while travelling. I was excited though it was my second visit to Nagara fort as   I   was accompanied by my friends this time. We first visited the Nagara fort. When we got down the bus we were made to stand in lines.  We stood at the entrance to listen to the words of our teacher Mr. Sripathi  Sir about the fort. He told that the ...
