The Yellow Back in Action!

(Mumbai Indians V/S Chennai Super Kings, April 7th 2018 )

What I was waiting for has already started. Yes it is IPL. The most interesting thing is that the match was between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings and I’m a diehard fan of CSK. Do you why? Because I’m a big fan of MS Dhoni  and Suresh Raina. I was much tensed because MI is also one of the strongest teams of IPL. When CSK won the toss and chose to field first, it gave me a bit relief

The first over was bowled by Deepak Chahar I was happy as Mumbai couldn’t do more in the first 2 overs. Then Deepak came up with excellent piece of bowling in the third over and took the wicket of Lewis. Lewis and Rohit Sharma couldn’t contribute more. Then came the partnership of Suryakumar yadhav and Ishan kishan  with clean and brilliant shots. But not for long , Harbajan got Suryakumar out.then came one of my favorite hitters Hardhik Pandya. After Ishan Kishan the elder one , Krunal Pandya came in. I would call the brothers the maximum brothers of MI. As always the brothers had a great partnership. Bravo didnt bowl that well in his starting overs but his last two overs were really good. Hardhik even got hurt because of the amazing Yorkers.

It was the time for kings to chase. The first 3 overs went well for CSK, When Watson got out CSK started getting dull. Though Hardhik Pandya was hurt he bowled well and took wickets. I felt that the extraordinary bowler of the match was Mayank Markande. He has become one of my favourite bowlers now.

I slept after 8 overs. Morning as soon as I got up I asked my dad who won. I was dancing in joy when I got to know about CSK’s win.  Then I saw Bravo’s wonderful shots and Kedhar Jadhav’s 7 runs from 3 balls. Bravo was man of the match for his magnificent 68 runs contribution out of 30 balls, which included 7sixes and 3 fours

(PS:  Need not mention that though I missed the live match, I did nt miss highlights of the match.)
